- Continued successes working with the Habitat for Humanity for reconstruction of problem homes and in-fill housing
- Continued efforts in controlling drug abuse and other crimes
- Completion of Closes Creek Basin sewer systems
- Continue to provide safety measures in the streets to keep citizens safe
- Working with possible developers for several sites in Ward One
- Completion of the streetscape for Beaverdale and for the Riverbend Area, working through, and with, the Main Street Iowa Initiative
- Completion of Trestle-to-Trestle Recreation Trail and other area trails
